Stack Safe FIBC Container Multi Layer Storage
TON BAG/BULK BAG/FIBC
Also known as a flexible intermediate bulk container (FIBC) or space bag, it is a medium-sized bulk container that can achieve unitized transportation mainly by cranes or forklifts.
It is convenient for transporting large quantities of bulk powdery materials, featuring large capacity, lightweight, and easy handling, making it one of the common packaging materials.
Bag Types
Container bags mainly include square, circular, and irregular types. Square bags consist of four independent side panels, maintaining their original shape better when filled. Circular bags are made from a single piece of tubular fabric, formed as a whole. Irregular bags consist of a large U-shaped panel and two side panels, offering more flexible sizing. Pricing primarily depends on material usage. For the same size, square bags use more material area than circular or irregular ones, providing better load-bearing capacity and thus higher pricing.
Materials
Container bags are typically made from polypropylene or polyethylene as the main raw material for woven ton bags, with three to four layers of material for foil ton bags. Fully foil inner bags paired with woven outer bags form functional composite packaging, widely used in industries such as chemicals.
However, some manufacturers use substandard or recycled bags as raw materials. In such cases, in addition to price, the properties of the contents must be considered. For example, bags for high-end chemical products require extremely high quality to prevent leakage; bags for mineral powders have lower dust-proof requirements but must remain clean; while bags for waste only need to hold materials without strict load-bearing requirements.
